Water, Sewer, and Garbage Bill

This is how we calculate your water bill if you live inside the City limits.

Assume the example customer used 8000 gallons in one month:

Base Fee: $10.68 +

0 to 6000 gallons used = 6 x $3.01 = $18.06

6 to 8000 gallons used = 2 x $4.08 = $8.16

Total bill would be: $10.68 + $18.06 + $8.16 = $36.90

Cumming Utilities Conservation Pricing

Tiered or conservation-oriented water rate structures are designed to promote water use efficiency and water conservation through economic incentives, specifically through water price signals.  Conservation pricing is based on the concept that customer water use decreases as the price paid for water increases, and helps to discourage inefficient use or waste of water.  Water conservation is seen as an important action that must be taken to help sustain our water supplies, meet future needs, and reduce demands placed on our water resources.  Cumming Utilities has implemented the 3 tiered rate structure shown below for residential meters in an effort to promote water efficiency.

This is how we calculate your water bill if you live outside the City limits.

Assume the example customer used 8000 gallons in one month:

Base Fee: $14.25 +

0 to 6000 gallons used = 6 x $4.02 = $24.12

6 to 8000 gallons used = 2 x $5.43 = $10.86

Total bill would be: $14.25 + $24.12 + $10.86 = $45.84
